Just got my tach installed and of course I had to go see how fast I could hit the rev limiter. Looks like 6000 in first gear does the trick. Well as I get home and put it in park, I thought I'd be cool and rev it up a bit in the garage which sounds pretty cool with my Flowmaster 40. How embarassing, my wife's watching me and the damn thing cuts out at 4000 RPM. Do you suppose that GM idiot proofed the PCM to not let you over rev it in park?:censor:

I think they do... My friend had that same thing happen on his saturn... but his is a stick, so it must be able to tell it's in neutral/clutch pushed in. It scared him because he put his intake on and then tried revving it, but it kept cutting off and he thought it was the intake that caused it... I just laughed at him :D .
