How do you plan to anchor the seatbelts and seat to the floor? Will you tap into one of your support braces that run beneath the sheet metal?

yea the 3/16 plate steel on the out side of the floor is to mount the seat to and the triangle inner 3/16 i will bolt the seat belts threw.

Agree on the horse thing. I went to a trauma course that had a case where a woman's quarter horse bit off her damn arm above the elbow.

Trust me, I've looked around....and everything has been picked outta there. even the copper. It's actually the old Police/DPW building....it's been abandoned for almost 10 years, and the town doesn't want to knock it down because of asbestos.

Retro/Gunther- I have a 10:00 appointment at OK 4 Wheel Drive in Stewartsville this Saturday to get the truck aligned, so let me know if you guys are around...

sure, mite take the bike, shes getting there fast. sunday the 5th was my first day off in over 3 1/2 months 7 days a week straight. but yea i'll be there i'll even make the wifey come along. then it's time to get back to working on the truck.

none really rite now worked almost 500 hours ot this past year. i just quite smoking and have like 3 weeks paid time off saved up. i'm waiting till the weather gets a bit nicer to get back at it, im gonna take some time off and i freed up about $450 a month by not smoking so progress is rite around the corner on this thing.

sounds like a pretty good plan. it's hard working in this cold. you move half speed and youre miserable the whole time.

There was noting to do at work today so I thought what better way to kill time then read through an entire build thread and man am I glad I did! I hate to see progress slow down but I completely understand. This truck is looking amazing. I'll be staying in tune with this.

BTW when you get a chance can you post a few pics of your bed floor? I'd love to see how good that french'd gas door looks.
