I just picked up a set of 18 inch wheels with 235/55/18 tires on them. My S10 2wd Blazer has a 3 inch drop in the front and 4 inch in the rear. I know I've read 255/45/18 is the correct size to use, so before I bolt these on has anyone used the 235/55 size and are they too tall or will they rub?

Check the Tire/Wheel Fitment guide in Wheels/Tires/Brakes.

Since you already have the tires and wheels why not try them to see if they rub?
You don't mention the offset of the new wheels. That can have a huge effect on how they fit. You stockers are 0 offset. If the wheels are off a Camaro or Corvette with +50mm (2") or more offset you would need spacers.

This might help if the wheels are 0 offset
