easy
O.K. guy,you need to unhook your battery(+),then crawl under the truck(after makin sure you have something under the wheels,so it won't run over you!)on the pass.side . look up at where your trans and motor bolt together and there sits your stater motor.you need to take your starter off by removing the 2 long bolts and most likely there is a small brace that is mounted on the front of the stater to the engine block.when you have your strarter pulled donw a little ,unhook the large batt.cable and the small wire(usually purple)from the solonoid.the solonoid is bolted on to the starter with 2 small screws or bolts.take them out and give it a twist,it should pop right off!put the spring back in,bolt the new soloniod back on,hook up the cables(be carefull not to over tighten the nuts, that hard plastic will break on you)and the studs are easily pulled out.replace starter, not forgetting any shims that may have been between the starter and motor block,PUT THE FRONT BRACE BACK ON !!!even if its a pain to get to.hook up the cables and give her a try.Its really not a bad job and if you take your time you can do it in an hour.Good Luck
