Hi, everyone.

I have a 89 4x4 s-10, with a clicking in the front end when in 4wd. I have done my searches and figured out it is either a cv joint, half-shaft, or ball joint. I couldnt find out how hard these things are to replace? Also what are some things to look for when I get into it? Thanks for any help.

Oh yeah, I am not a master mechanic, but i can do most things.

thanks

most likely a cv shaft or the driveshaft that goes from your t case to your front differential. check all rubber boots to make sure they are not torn (you will see grease spattered everywhere) and make sure all your grease fittings (even the ones on the driveshafts) are lubed

ok, i looked at mine and noticed it's splattering grease all over on the left side, and the right side's starting to do the same, what i need to know is exactly WHAT TOOLS, such as what size socket for the drivehub nut and diff end, and what size drive breaker bar(i'm guessing 3/4")
