Use anything non-abrasive...I would try the heat gun and your finger nail to get it started. then slowly pill it up...if any of the sticky stuff is left behind you could use some rubbling achcol, but besure and wax when you are done if you use that!

Um, I think you've got the right idea, though. Heat gun or hair dryer should take em right off. And WD-40 takes off residue like a champ.

I just peeled mine off too.

They peel off pretty easy.
