how do you remove the glass form the stock headlights on a 98+? It looks like there are some clips but i still can't figure out how to get it off. Anyone know if there is some glue back there? If anyone can help me please pm me and let me know, I have halos waiting to go in! Thanks

If its like my 2001 there are 2 clips on each side pull them straight up ^ and then slighly pull up and out on the whole headlight.

no I know how to get the headlight out. I need to get the GLASS off the headlight. Thanks

My glass came out of my headlights when I hit a puddle and ran into a wall. :banghead: :evilg: :bah:

umm.....I wish that helped, not looking to spend $100 for some lights to "experiment" on.

Sorry I couldn't resist, I did go and look at my spare(broken) parts for the truck. They have glue holding the chrome ring and lens on from what I can tell, I hope this helps. or you can look on ebay for some cheap headlights, I got mine for $40.00 for both of them. actually I got my whole front end to rebuild my truck from the wreck on Ebay for about $400 without paint.
