yes they do sell boxes that fit but..... they are expensive and depending on what kind of sub you get it may not work very well . building a box is not hard and is probablly the best root to take , i know i am building one for mine eventually :thumbup:whitebowtie9 said:do they sell boxs to fit first gen. s10s?
I have one of these in my 01 and it pounds.Mr. Mikey said:Crutchfield sells a subwoofer/amplifier that installs behind the driver's seat in a regular cab.
It's made to match factory interior so it should look seamless.
I think they are called "Thunderforms" and are made by MTX. $550+-
I don't know how good MTX products are, but I thought the idea was kinda neat.
Very easy to install. Hell yes it was worth the money. I think it looks great. Seat will go all the way back but the sub "travels" a bunch so i moved up one click.Mr. Mikey said:Was it easy to install?
Was it worth the money?
How does it really look?
Will the seat still go all the way back?
Sorry for all the questions, you're the first person I've heard of who has one.
:drinkhaha bwuhahahaha!!! yeah but i dont like the cut through idea myself id rather have my own custom design behind my seats. plus screwing together some MDF is cheaper then a preformed box. and you all know how cheap i am§lammedblazer said:THe Camper Haunts you!
