I have all the parts to do a rear disc brake swap. My question is how thick is the spacer needed to center the caliper to the rotor. Read about it somewhere but cannot find. Also do I need to replace the proportioning valve or will the rear wheel antilock brake take care of this. My truck is a 91. Thanks for any help.

yes you do you need a spacer on 90+ s10 7.5 axles if your going from a drum to disc setup. aftermarket kits are built to the rotor and the caliper. 98+ blazer discs you need the spacer which is 1/4. Also hi_im_sean has a part that lets you use your e-brake cable with the factory cable for the blazer disc swaps.

Ya know... It's sometimes really hard to know the answer with little info.
There are many members that ask questions without thinking about what they ask.
