Well, I was down on dawson road at the light with a ranger edge. He was itchin for it!

To make a long story short, I had him midways through second gear before he started pulling on me, so I let drop down and the regrabbed more low-end torque!

When will these guys realize that we have a larger 1st gear??

It'd be interesting to see what motor he had in that thing. The edges come in two flavors the 3.0 V6 which is 150HP and the 4.0 V6 which is 207 HP. Not only do you guys have a bigger first gear but the 4.3 has way more torque than any of the V6s ever offered in the Rangers. If you can't tell I've got a little torque envy.:)

I don't know. I've got the 95TBI, it's only rated at 155hp. Before the October meet, I should have my pullies and electric fan done.

And possibly my exhaust. I figure, I might be good for about 175hp.

Hmmmm

Heres what I got...

K&N Open Element Filter
Edelbrock Intake Manifold
MSD 6A, MSD Coil, MSD Billet Dist.
March Crank, Alt, Pump underdriven pullies
JBA Headers
Magnaflow Catback
#60 Electric Fan
Poweraid TBI Spacer
160* T-Stat
1.52 Rockers

With all that I hope I'm pushing 175 HP

Engine is vintage '89 with stock internals and 68,000 on it.

If I'm lucky :)
