Sat college football and Sun Hawks football. Come by the store, bring a truck, sit on the deck if it's nice, root for your team, beat me at pinball and slot car racing. Still don't have the money for a trans rebuild, so it sits in the garage.

It's kind of last minute, but let's do an end of season meet up for lunch tomorrow, 10-28 at http://www.pitstoptaproom.com/. Burien. My S-10 hasn't been on the road for almost 2 years, so I was doing a meet up with the X-Runner group. My X has been in the garage almost as long but I got it fired up and running this week. It's beautiful out and the deck will be open. I have a couple other hot rods coming by. So let's make a free for all, get a bunch of cars and trucks there.

Bummer about the truck, great on the house. Biz is always tough, up and down. Always stressful. I haven't been around here much either. Turnout was like normal. Me and some friends. A 69 Firebird, 69 Camaro, and a 64 GTO. Keep in touch, maybe you can get the Firebird down here next summer. I would like to make a trip up, but my wife doesn't travel well.

Ohhhh you know it. No way am I selling my SS haha. It's still going, 114k miles  Did a fuel pump within the last year, and the Spider Injector finally last week. It ran ok, but figured It would get better with the new style injector. It got a tad better, but it's a step behind those 1/4 mile times of the past. Still love her. Hope everything is well with you. I just got a new job, spent 18 years at the Ford Dealer, finally got smart and got OUT. Started a new CAREER with King Co Metro. ?

? 114K...I've got 315K on mine...new engine and a rebuilt transmission at 262K. Are you a driver at Metro? I retired from FedEx Express after 34+ years....I'm starting to like retirement. We're actually in Arizona for a week of monsoon weather. Lot of good it did to rent a 2019 Camaro SS convertible...

Haha, ya 114k any day now. I been driving a Geo Metro since like 2005, it really keeps miles off the SS, and helps build the savings account as you can imagine. Of course I'm putting my life at risk everyday to an extent but that doesn't bother me :) I'm a Bus Mechanic for Metro. I went through my 3 days of drivers training over the weekend, the instructor was kind of going crazy, he said I should be driver, cause my confidence in turns is much more than a beginner. Driving in downtown Seattle if you aren't on your game things can go south in an instant, dunno if I could do that everyday.. BUT from what he told me, if you're willing to work overtime the skies the limit on a Driver's pay, it's insane. I'm glad you're enjoying retirement, 34 years is a long time. I'm hoping for 30 with Metro, should fly by they say. Hope you enjoyed AZ.
