I have a 93 s10 4X4, I've installed Rancho shocks (5123)'s about 3 times now. they seem to last about 4 months, then they start bouncing. Rancho said he thinks my torsion bars are up too high causing the shocks to be too short and top-out and break. I cant lower them bcs I'm runnin' 30x9.5's. Is there another company I could go to!?!?!? Please help!

Sounds to me like Rancho is right. It's not the shock's fault. All you need to do is go with a slightly longer shock with more travel, either that or go with a smaller tire and set you torsion bars back down to stock height.

Yes......... this much I understand, but lowering is not an option for my situation. But what I really need is where I can turn to for a longer shock. Can anyone help?????

Maybe..Why not ck out these sites. I run Doetsch Tech
shocks lowered, but they also make some outragous off
road shocks. I have run Bilsteins on a Class 5 VW in Mojave
and they worked excellant as well..The first will be Doetsch
the second Truck Performance..They have a pretty decent
selection of shocks HTHs' P.S. ck out the new Bilsteins 5150
shocks . That's a good price, and if that doesn't work for ya
Bilstein has shocks that have up to 17" travel, but like a Beverly
Hills hooker, they ain't cheap..

Yer welcome. I noticed that Truck Performance has the Bilstein
5100's with anywhere form 6.50" travel up to 14.00" travel
for 78.00 a pc. I don't know if you've ever rode on a set of
Bilstein's, but once you do, doubt you'll go back with different
shock. Like I said I had 6 on the rear of my class 5 VW and
though it was fairly stiff, once I flew and hit a few times
out in the desert, I was SOOO glad I decent shocks on the
rear. I had custom Fox shocks on the front..Bilsteins held up
pretty good, I must say..
