code 22 & 45
Tps low voltage and O2 fuel system rich
High idle and looses power while driving. I would describe it as bogging down and acts like it’s running out of fuel.

replaced plugs, wires, cap, button, new fuel filter, rebuilt TBI, new valve cover gasket, new intake manifold gasket,

Fuel injector is not stuck open and changes rate of flow with manual operation of pedal cable going to TBI. It does appear to have a high idle speed though and the fuel injector rate of flow decreases dramatically when tps is unhooked.

would a code 22 and 45 cause the tps to think it needs more fuel and likewise create a rich fuel mixture tripping the 45 code? Would a new tps be the correct place to start?

read this: If a reset doesn't work try a new one.

Didn't you just rebuild the TB?

Yes, TBI is rebuilt. Fuel injectors are working properly. TPS is saying low voltage and the O2 is saying its running rich. It boggs down when you increase throttle to go up a hill.

Oldeerslayer, Thanks for that link to the TPS sensor adjustment. Before buying new, I will see if I can rotate the TPS to get my voltage for idle to be under .8 and WOT at or above 4.5 volts. I noticed the pluged hole in the throttle body when rebuilding it and thought that was wierd. I am wondering if I simply dont have it in the correct rotational postion for correct voltage. That could be my main issue. Thanks again for that information. I will work on that this evening.

Ended up being TPS. Put on a new one and it ran well but not perfect. Got a new code 33 for MAP sensor so I replaced that and now she’s purring real well and no codes.
