Hey guys.

I have a quick question about the ZQ8 rims.

I have a 86 S10 and would like to get a set of these rims for it.

Ive been told that the ZQ8 rims do not fit without having to enlarge the centre hole so they fit.

I was just told recently that the 94-97 ZQ8 rims will fit on my truck stock, but the 98-01 won't.

I've also been told that they won't fit because the offset is different.

Im totally lost! :(

I think I've found a set for $500CDN or so but thats a lot of money for me if they don't work :)

Can any one verify this for me?

Thanks

You will definately need the 94-97 ZQ8 wheels.Because in 1998 the S-10's went to a smaller wheel hub which means the center of the wheels are smaller. So you will have to enlarge the centers of 98-01 ZQ8 wheels to fit your truck.I have had to enlarge the centers of wheels to make them fit and it's NO big deal.Just get a dremel tool and file out a TAD bit at a time and trial fit as you go.

I had to grind mine out too. I'll give you a little pointer, though. don't be like me and put a grinding stone in your air die grinder. When those stones explode....Look out!! Easy to do and worth every minute of the time it took once you get them on.

Good luck.
