Im sure if you used the search button that you could find the size belt needed. I cant imagine that this has never been discussed.

I'm sure the kit will come with instrucs and the belt size should
be included. That's the way it was for the ASP's I got.

I'll tell ya though, if I had known about the BBK alum pulley
kit Truck Performance has for my ride now, I would of bought
them. I've seen close up and they're clean. Three alum pulleys
for 130.00 and change. They have em up to 95. Good deal for
1st Gen and some 2nd Gens..Only thing you have to match
would be a belt since the BBK's are 6 groove pulleys and the
factory's are 8 groove pulleys..Not all are like this, but some.

I have the march pulleys as well, but not installed. Is a pulley Puller needed? My friend has a WS6 LS1 v-8 and to change his pulleys he had to rent a pulley puller, but he got the wrong one the first time. Apparently with ours all you need is like a breaker bar b/c i have heard no talk about the need for a puller. Anyone who has added the pulleys already please respond.

thanks in advance

As far as I know there is no need for a puller. I had three bolts
on the harmonic balancer that had to come off, the four bolts
for the water pump puuley and I had to take the alt off and
take it to a friend's parts store so they could use an inpact
gun to take off the alt pulley nut to replace the stock pulley
with the larger one. I should of kept the stock on. Charging
is reduced at idle but does come back up as soon as 800 R's
are reached..

you replace the stock pulley with a smaller one-

I didnt have an impact... I used a pipe wrench on the old pulley to hold it.

i wrote a bunch about the belt size earlier..took me tooo MANY tries to get the right one!
