Ive had my trucked bagged for almost a year and ive already decided to body it. this will be my first bd. gonna traditional bd my truck thanksgiving week. running 18/20 combo and gonna keep factory ac with a 225/40r18 up front. will i need to invert the fan to inside the firewall and is there a good thread with pics on how to do it? i have a sheetmetal blowerbox now that clears when laying but i will need to make a new one. also running stock upper arms and my control arm hits the coil now when layed so im gonna also have to get uppers, probably gonna run mmw flat plate uppers. i hope to have the cab and frame horns done in that week not worried about the bed cause i can drive without it. computer will be moved behind the dash and everything else is staying under the hood, hopefully the battery too. now i need to start gathering parts so i can have it all so what all do i need? heres what im ordering first a smaller brake booster , trailor fender for firewall, and upper control arms. whats the best/easiest to mod brake booster? i wont be running abs also. if anyone has some good threads on bd with ac let me know lol ive been looking at all the good ones showing how and where to cut and all that

ill be watching this one cant wait for it to start. truck looks good too and looks like the bed is already done for the most part. your going to be working your a$$ off that week but it could be done with some help from friends and being well planned out. i thought my sfbd was going to be a 3 month process but its been 10 due to adding more stuff than i originaly planned. my advise is have everything you need and if you want to hit your timeline dont start the "might as well" bug, thats whats been getting me behind. good luck and cant wait to see how it goes!!!!

Brake booster is simple I jus did it on mine took about 15 mins

I modded my stock blower motor for ac but never got it finished. The 350 sat too far forward for me to fit the condenser in front of the radiator. You will definitely need aftermarket upper arms mine just bearly hits with a 225/40/18 tire on drop spindles with SD uppers.

yup hand made steel shavers from a fleetside bed. bagged 1026 made the passenger side i made the drivers. and i think it can be done in 7 days. day one pull the interior and mark cuts. day 2 cut and drop. day 3 and 4 makes fillers and tub. day 5 and 6 mod ac. day seven put interior back in and re assemble fenders and such. its gonna be a big task i already know but im shooting for a week. it might take a few more days but a week is what im shooting for. the bed can wait

the headlights and turns were on ebay for like 50 bucks. the bed im hoping i wont have to do much too because the upper floor is a false floor and the lower is for storage. i should be able to cut the lower floor out and make spacers for the upper floor. im hoping the bed tubs will clear and all that so i wont have to redo it

and also my truck is a 2003 and i read somewhere that i dont have to have a 1st gen proportioning valve to delete abs i can use the one on it? is this true?

I used the factory prop. valve on my truck. Good luck with the body drop, and you got some good lookin wheels

shit I'll have to make some out of fleetside bedsides then as well. i cant justify grants shavers in any way, especially when i still need to make em fit and everything. price is ridic!

if you can do this in seven days though, theres no reason someone else cant, which will just give me more motivation to do mine! Interiors already pulled apart on mine anyways so im halfway done the first day haha. good luck, i've already sub'd to this!
