since the rockers were cooked, as well as the DS cab corner I decided to replace those before i started to cut up the cab at all.

Project my girlfriend talked me into it

After much talking about BD'ing my truck with friends etc, my girl finally talked me into it. :rant: I have never done this before, but have done quite a bit of reading andhave been usind different threads from Wicked94, Redd, Ricky etc... to kind of grasp wtf i am doing.
The plan is traditional to the rockers. Then I will have to do something about the bed, and I need to figure out my hood.
And since she talked me into this, she is DW'ing with me
we have been at it for a couple weekends now.

Cut the pinch off, drilled the spotwelds, marked where i wanted to splice in on the PS and went at it.

the DS... I still need to weld the new corner on:

then we laid out the floor cuts. I cut anticipating laying the fillers back 1.5". But, I screwed up with the first cut on the sides. I set the cut too close to the sill, and cut right through the threaded fitting for the seatbelt bolt. So I will be moving those.
For the firewall, I have to move so much stuff around because of the V8, it is going to just be easier to rebuild the firewall. But I didnt hack the whole firewall out-I will section it out piece by piece, so I have a referenc of where GM had located stuff on the firewall.
