You can build it back

"When it all falls down
We build it right back up again,
But this time, bigger, better
Look. Look what we can do, look at how beautiful we are. Do you think that men who built this had it easy?
Hard men doing hard shit........"

I hope I am not stuck at this point for long. The rods came in the other day and wouldn't you know they sent the wrong ones. They were for a 350 and not a V6. Gonna start ordering the little things that I need to replace so it doesn't all hit me at one time. Also found out some of the cab bushing are gone. We couldn't even get some of the plug to pass through the body/frame from the O2 sensor so that is something else to replace.

Stopped by the shop yesterday and nothing had been touched. He pulled everything out and started on it. Heads are getting cleaned up and flowed so we can order a camshaft for it. Looks like in about 2 weeks I should have everything back home to start assembly!!

Dropped off some main studs to the machine shop and they are just about done. Rings and bearings were delivered today. Rotating assembly is balanced. He said they had to add some heavy metal to the ends of the crank because of the weight of the Eagle rods. Heads were cleaned up and gained some flow.
Heads flowed: 200---300---400---500lift
intake stock 135 187 226 241
exhaust stock 118 154 170 179

after 200---300---400---500
intake 144 199 238 256
exhaust 122 163 192 208
This was not an all out port job, just cleaned up the bowls and what not. ARP rocker studs are on the way. They called Crane cams and ordered cam grind number HR-214/325-2S-12 but added 8* of lobe separation if I understood him correctly so it had to be ground. I told him I wanted a good DD camshaft since I would be using the stock convertor for now. .488/.509 lift 214/222 @.050 . Springs are Comp 941.
