Where did you purchase it, and is it built for what?
Mishimoto's website, it's for a Cobalt SS. 2.2l radiators have the hoses on opposite sides of most radiators, luckily this one works. Works with single or dual fans. Probably going to run the single for simplicity. I don't forsee any cooling issues with this setup.

So when I got the '95, the engine had a ticking noise and was told it might be a wrist pin. Didn't really care or look into it since I planned on junking the motor anyway. I did try to sell it but I'm kind of glad no one bit because this is what I found....

That and the top compression ring was shattered in pieces on all four pistons, the cylinder walls had deep pits and looked like they were honed with a sheet of dry 80 grit. The rod bearing all had scratches that I could feel with my nails. I'm surprised it ran at all really. @BigPapa

I did manage to gut the entire cab, it is so weird to me to see a vehicle this old with absolutely no rust.

Still needs a good cleaning and I need to get some dry ice to remove the sound deadening on the floor.

Gutted the dashboard a little bit and removed the electrics from the steering column and just threw back in...

Just logged on for the first time in a long time and saw that piston…

That‘s just crazy. You drove it some before you stripped it, didn’t you? Did you suspect anything like that? I certainly didn’t. Good thing you weren’t planning to use that motor. I certainly had no idea. We got whodo’d on that truck. Sorry MBP. I hope you don’t think I was trying to whodoo you….:cautious:

Haven't done much, still trying to acquire the final parts to build the motor. Working on buying all new connectors for my harness, figuring out what sensors I want to use, etc.

Decided it needed different headlamps. Cardboard mockup...

Looking good. Man, you’re garage is WAY too straight and clean….;)
Ha, I'm just good at hiding all of the junk. I spent most of the summer organizing stuff because every time I'd go to work on the truck, I'd have more time in finding tools and such than actual work getting done.

I've heard people talk about doing quad round headlights with this grill, never seen anyone do it yet.

That lens over the projectors will mess up the light pattern I would think. If you want them behind a lens it should be plain.

That picture was just for size reference. These don't need lenses. Most likely going to cut 2 holes in the lense. Though I was tempted to make a hideaway cover a la Chrysler LeBaron lol.
