So I finally got around to reprogramming my speedo since changing to 235/55/16's (from 205/75/15's). I blew off doing it for a while until I read that it can affect transmission shift points. So I did it and now I know why my truck felt kinda sluggish. I didnt think it would make as much of a difference as it did, but it did. My PP3 has proven itself to be a worth while investment again.

btw my old tires were 27.1" and the new ones are 26.1" My speed was 5mph slower than indicated (at 40mph) before adj.

After driving it for a bit last night I should add that it makes a huge difference when your tranny knows what is going on. I have noticed that the tranny spends alot less time slipping around in the clutch bands and stays in the best gear for the particular speed. This is not the result of addng the firmer shifts, and altered shift points, this is from correcting my speedo because of different tire size.
