I have a wrecked 98 reg cab 2.2 5spd S10 and a 95 ext cab sonoma with 4.3 5spd. I think my power steering pump might be going bad due to whining that gets louder as the rpms rise. I am not sure that this is the problem but that is what seems to be thr problem. Is the 98 and 95 pumps interchangable? I plan on swapping the zq8 steering box from the 98 to the 95 anyway. I haven't gotten around to changing the belt either which I need to do since it squeeks. Thank guys!
