The real question i have is do they do the same thing or could i get both and rework different settings with each device??:dunno:

I would have to say to go with the Power programmer. With the Jet chip what you buy is what you get. With the Programmer you can always change your setting to suit your needs. And going back to stock only means pluging in to your OBD-2 port as opposed to getting under the hood.

i owned my friend who had a jet chip..he cursed himself for not gettin a hpp3 when i took him for a ride

What all can yo do with a hpp3? I know it's not going to help my trans any, I got a 5-speed.

tuning (87 or 93 octane), rev limiter, tire and gear calibration and thats maybe it on a 5-spd autos can do shift firmness & shift points
