Just jumped on the group buy on LS1Tech so it's time to gather more parts. Here is the plan.

05 5.3 Yukon 80k someone painted red
T56-"30k"
Stainless works longtubes
High mount A/C using S10 bracket
Holley oil pan
Intrepid fans

The truck is a 94 4.3 TBI auto with 167K has a few things to make it handle anyways, here it is.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Planning on getting started when the engine mounts show up. Im thinking about getting the BRP xmember so ill have more room for long tubes, cats, and an X pipe. Does anyone have a set of 94-97 manual pedals? I have 2 pretty large junkyards right down the street, and every s10 is an auto...

Nice ride! I don't have a set of pedals, but I think my semi-local yard has a set. I can ask how much next time I am out there if you want.

I would really like to see how the long tubes fit with the BRP, so if you do that, please post pics!

Got the engine and trans out over the weekend! My harness, mounts, and cpw rad are now here it all looks really nice.

I have a few questions

Did your cpw harness come with any instructions? Have a few plugs not labeled, i'm sure i can figure it out.

What year clutch assemblies will work for my truck? Its looks like the master cyl mount bolts in on 94's, but 95's appear to the push and turn style. Are the pedals diff 94-97?

Thank god you lost that front bumper and god awful visor! Looks a lot better now.

I don't think the condenser is made to mount up to the radiator, far as I know the radiator goes inside the core support, and the condenser goes outside, between the core and hood latch. I think the CPW kit comes with a new lower side of the hood latch to clear the condenser.

You might call and ask on that one though.

That is a CPW setup right? Sure looks like one?

So, I have been seriously debating a cam swap. Having a little trouble deciding on what cam would be best. I have been looking a a few "off the shelf" cams from Texas speed.
Thinking about the 224/224 112lsa, and the 224/228 114. Seems as though both these cams are very streetable, and should offer similar power.

So the BRP trans Xmember is a pos. It hits the trans casting before it fits in the mount, the holes were not drilled straight to line up with drivers side frame holes. Also my SW long tubes are touching the body on the pass after a ton of beating. The motor is set 1/4" back so idk why they are soo close.
