when I accelerate or turn quickly, I hear a semi loud pop. it sounds as though it's comming from the stearing column, but I'm not exactly sure... is anyone else running into this? how do I fix this problem? anybody?

Well the ZQ8 suspension is notorious for popping noises but it is usually on hard turns. Most people can fix the problem buy greasing the steering stops.

Is your truck lowered? It might be your ball joints. Get under it and grease everything, upper/lower ball joints, tie rods, and sterring linkage. Hope this helps.

don't think it's that.

it is lowered, but it was making that noise before hand. I'll try the grease thing anyway, but I'm pretty sure it's not that. it's some sort of tension like popping. it's not suspension, but it sure sounds like it is. but then the thing woulda gone away when I put on the new coils and sways right? unless it's control arms or spindles.
