If you are tryin to do this to your jimmy go thru the wheel well with a swivel on your ratchet. Works like a charm. If you are talkin bout your X you probably can do the same I am not sure on that tho.

sorry, it is the jimster i was talking about....i was lookin at it before i posted, and thought about goin thru the wheelwell....thanks

when I changed the wires, I had to take off the left front wheel to get the boot off!!!I am thinking it is going to be the same for the plugs.......PITA!!!!!!!!!!!:bash:

when i changed plugs on my first gen that's what i had to do, lift up that little rubber skirt on the fender, and go in with a swivel and the longest extension you can get...lol

I still cant get to #5. I have gone through the wheel well and Ill be damned if I can get a socket over it still. I havent taken the boot off the steering column or the heat shield. Will that make that much of a difference?
