kp 6 link will work for sure. I know of two people who cant get teh 5 link to work with their plastic tanks, and others say they have no problem. SD has yet to come up with a definitive answer on that as well.

why the do a select few have plastic tanks anyways

yeah man both are designed to work with stock tanks...occasionaly there are some slight fitment issues that have not been narrowed down to whether they just didn;t put it in right or if there truck was slightly different.. its usually the shocks that want to hit the tank when at full lift. Ive installed alot of 5 links and never had a problem.

i thought it was the link bars... i can always move the shocks

my 5 link works with plastic tank. had to move the tank forward about an inch or a little more.
