Ok, first off, im not going to have much money to do this with, so I am aiming for a decent setup on a budget. Therefore, i dont need anything that is going to be able to hop my truck off the ground. However, I do want to be able to lay it out, right now I am running stocks with 225/50s so laying should be too much of a problem as I plan to trim the front and C-notch the back about 2.5". Later on I will be upgrading to 17s with low profile rubber.
To start out, i am definetly going to start out with a mono-leaf setup out back.
Although i don't need anything extremely fast, I am wanting to run 1/2" line all the way around with either 3/8 or 1/2 valves. I want to run dual port valves so that I only need 4 instead of 8.
As far as air management i am looking to go with either a 6 or 9 gallon tank, 1-2 decent compressors, and independent 4 corner control. I want to have a fair amount of "play-time" without the compressor kicking in everytime I hit a switch, and I want a compressor that can fill relatively fast.
What I need help with is what you other guys are running on a budget system, and what recommendations you would make as far as what would be good to purchase.
Im not a big fan of kits, i was looking to buy everything seperately if possible. Although, I do have a good friend who can order pretty much anything at cost, so i can get good deals. So when u make your recommendations to me please keep in mind I want a decent, quality setup thats not gonna cost me an arm and a leg...if possible im trying to keep the cost under $2,000..and as far under $2,000 as possible.
Thanks a lot in advance for any advice,
Lane
