Hey guys I got the pics up of my truck on bags...

http://www.geocities.com/chevy2001xtreme

If I put spindels in the front it will drop another 1.5inches then the top of the tire will hit the top of the fender well... In the rear I need smaller shocks and then the rear will drop more not sure how much though I am estimating 1-2inches...

Take a look at the site the pics are all on there on holla back.

Thanks all... You know how these things are work in progress! LOL More to come soon! haha

xtremer-pxl, No I didn't notch it in the rear. They would have had to cut on the bed and right now there was no real point. I wanted to see how it would lay right now and it's going good for me right now. Have some things going on right now and it will be awhile before I van make it lay all the way out.

RawRedX, The A arms or some **** like that. I need the spindels to bring it down lower. Nah the rear has a 3-link setup. I was wondering about that... So dont lay it out and drive or just make sure the driveline aint touching the cab correct?

Right--generally. The two pieces that typically need to be checked are the gas tank crossmember and the back section of the cab floor. Both of these can be notched. Also if they didnt notch the frame in the rear you wont lay real well.....Im betting they did, but it was a c notch not a step notch or a monster notch. I am curious to see if youll be able to put the kit on the ground without cutting the bed with those 20s. Its an eventual plan of mine once im out of college( read--can afford it) Wherre in Sac are you located....i wanna see this thing and what the did.

RawRedX,

Nah they didnt notch it... If they were to have done that they were gonna have to cut the bed and I didnt want to mess with that right now. Maybe a lil something for later on...

I have a 3-link in the back right now.

I live out in South Sac... Do you go to any shows?.. I guess there is a show coming up this 18th called Divostions or something like that. I'll be going out there... Then plan on going to the Good guys car show the 1st...

Where are you at?

im gettin the guys at ema to put in my step notch and should lay frame no problem. the new generation of the air bar 4 link just came out and i was one of the first ones to get it. kit should be in on friday.

front should come close to laying with no prob and rear with 275 35 18 should be close also with a step notch. im glad to meet a crew that actaully does stuff the right way the first time around.

hey 2001 xtreme how much did you pay and if you get a 2.5 notch you dont have to cut threw the bed at all wiht a 2.5 you will bottom out on bottom of notch same time you bottom out axle on bottom of bed. i have 1/4 inch left when i bottom out right now on my 2.5 notch from where the axle would hit the bed you will be fine.

yah just wondering how much you paid, what line and valves did you use and what gauges set up.

btw get the spindles :)

98 SS ON NOS,

So the inside of the bed wouldnt have to be messed with at all? What about the rear inner fender well? Ohh another question for you. If I get the spindels then the top of the tire will hit the top of the inner fender well in the front that will hold it from going lower... Now when the truck comes to rest on that isent it going to break it after awhile of hitting on that?...

I wont be able to get spindels or my guages setup for awhile. My job annouced the other day there closing down the building I work at. So I need to stack chips for a bit till I find a new job. Altough this dosent take effect till Late in July. Hopefully if everything goes right The X will be paid off by then! WOO HOO

I paid $2750 for everything... 1/2 lines, that's all I really know right now. I had them give me the same setup as on my buddies F150. I will find out all the details tomarrow as im going to pickup my old suspension. That price also includes the nitrogen tank I have as well.

wait they installed with no gauges so you dont know what pressure youa re running at??

get gauges. with the rear the 2.5 inch noch will be fine i have a pic on my site. what bs are your rear rims if they are 20x8 and 4.5 bs or 4.75 bs you will have no problems. i had 275 60 15 in rear of my truck and no problems with a 7 inch drop which is abotu what you are running when bottomed out because u have no notch.

if you get a 2.5 inch notch no cutting of the bed is required i just dont understand why they didnt do that. and get some gauges. i got the air ride ones and mounted them in the center console and it fits in perfect.

for the front you can get spindles and u will know when it touches he fenderwell but to be safe like i said get gauges then you will know exactly how low you have to go not to break the fenderwell

ps how does the 3 link hook better than the stock set up?

Honestly you dont NEED gauges, but they are helpfull....but sometimes they arent always gonna work right...like if you have passengers or somethin in the bed. With the fenderwell up front you wont have a problem... I havent and ive been slammin em for a while now.....You can also learn a technique with you switches that will bring it down with a little more control thean just slammin it.

We wont be at the show you mentioned because the crew is goin to Irvine for the Truck Jamboree. Email me/us/Flow and maybe we can meet up sometime soon.
