i dont mean to sound like a dumbass but which line is that the one that is mounted to the top or the one that tees?....and bend it forward?
maybe you have a pic in your archieve?

I cut the brackets off this weekend. Great instructions. Just follow these step by step and it should work great for you. I used a air grinder but it worked just as good....

got the driver side one off tonight... thank god u put those pics up here they helped a lot... it was a lil tougher than i thought but oh well....do the other side tomorrow
