My passenger side window has been actin wierd lately..and my warranty just came up so I can't go back to the dealer..Sometimes it will roll up and down just fine..then other times it wont work at all..it will go for days with out working..and it generally will only work for about 5 minutes..does anyone have any ideas why? or how to fix it?..thanks alot

If they are power windows, it may be a motor going bad or a loose wire.

They are indeed power windows..it's a 2000 Sonoma xcab..how would I go about checking this? anyone??

You might want to remove the door panel and check for binding in the window mech. Check the window switch and motor with a volt meter.

My best guess on voltage should 12. Does this window act up while using the drivers side control or just passeger side control or both?

When it stops working..niether controls work drivers and pass. nothing from either:-(

Probably the motor is bad.
