How about a little help?

I want to paint my door handles. I have a 2002 S10. The handles are the textured ones. Do the earlier smooth handles fit. I'm not sure of the years but I bet somebody on this forum does. Thanks in advance. Oh yea, how about the tailgate handle?

sand down the handles you have

94-97 s-10's had the smooth handles. Some people sand their 98-03 textured handles down and some put 94-97 handles in. Its up to you as to what you want to do. I have a set of 95 handles that I removed two days ago from my truck. They are forsale if you are interested
