its a 2000 xtreme with the first/original style of xtreme plastic center caps. the paint on the center caps is peeling at the high pressure carwash but its $1 a minute and inconsistent. i grabbed some stripper and thought about it at the last second: 'hmm.. is this plastic safe?' the can says its not.
does anyone know of a plastic safe paint stripper?
i have heard to try it in an conspicuous spot regardless but i figured to ask around first.

the body kit has one piece that will need paint removed as well but i am not doing that yet

I'd try brk clean , then carb cleaner on cloth (wearing gloves of course) then acetone, lacquer thinner. Tedious work
