Don’t have the VIN as my dad totaled this years ago and the DMV won’t give us the VIN. All I have is this picture of a picture. Can’t tell if it’s 2 or 3 tone, but want to paint my current 88 S10 same colors/tones. This was an 88 S10 Tahoe Extended Cab 2wd. Can anyone help with the colors? How would I identify this in the future? Thanks!

Two tone, there were no three tone options from the factory. In ‘88 you had two grays to choose from, your pops got both, Light Slate Metallic 17/WA7468
Gray Metallic ClearCoat 90/WA8798.
17/ and 90/ are the RPO codes, a two tone truck would have U for Upper L for Lower colors next to the RPO. I would say in this case it would have been 90U and 17L. Good luck, and share some pictures of the finished truck.

Paintref.com is a good free website. PPG has the colormobile app but you have to have an account with them or know someone who does. And on this site there is a thread
