Outside power mirrors move back and forth while key is off and not moving

I was a GM mechanic from 1974 to 2012 got 2000 zr2 pick up new and I don’t know why mirrors move like that? I’ll take a video and try to add it to my post.

Key doesn’t need to be on to adjust power mirrors. Or are you saying they move without any input from you?

Sounds like a problem with the switch. Maybe unplug the switch from the harness and see if the problem goes away?
