I'm currently working on an 82 S10 longbed. So far I have a used 350 (never been punched) with fresh 882 heads (I did gasket match the intake ports), edelbrock performer intake and 600 cfm carb, crower 267 HDP cam (210/214 dur. and .444 lift), hedmann shorty headers and 2.25" dual exhaust, a Be Cool radiator w/ elec. fans, 350 trans w/2200 stall, 9" rear w/locker and 3.50 gear, SSM lift bars, and 28x10 street tires. Best et to date [email protected] avg ET on 90 degree day [email protected] Engine has 150 psi cyl pressure (8.5:1 CR?). Wondering if bigger cam will help even though cyl. pressure will drop and I know I need slicks. Any comments/ suggestions welcome.
