Yeah those really aren't chrome just the stock silver valve covers. I am 99% positive no one ever made chrome valve covers for the vortec motors. If any of the motors would have made them it would have been for the CPI like you have because you can actually see them. On the newer motors you can barely even see the valve covers.

I used the chomed firstgen style TBI valve covers on my vortec heads. All the bolt holes are the same. Might have some accessory clearance issues, though, since mine is still a TBI, just with vortec heads.

It says "Chrome plated" right in the item description. There are several companies that sell them, just search for 4.3 Valve cover. They are very simmilar to what i run on my truck to clear my comp pro magnum rockers. They have no clearence issues on a '96 up motor, or a '95 and down motor for that matter(this thread is about a '95) since the accessories were used on engines that had the metal covers stock.

Also, edelbrock makes covers: http://store.summitracing.com/partd...908216+4294840129+4294819990+115&autoview=sku

And here are some chrome ones from summit, i would just get the ebay ones and save $25: http://store.summitracing.com/partd...908216+4294840129+4294819990+115&autoview=sku

And this looks like an oil pan, i have no idea if it will fit, i didn't look on ebay, but wouldn't be suprised if there are a few on there also: http://store.summitracing.com/partd...908216+4294840129+4294819990+115&autoview=sku
