What's normal oil pressure? Mine stays between 40 and 60, but moves around in there a lot, especially when accelerating.

TBI=Throttle Body Injection
CPI=Central Port Injection

40 as a low is normal as is 60-70 as a high... Yours is very normal...No worries there

The injection style... Look on my page at my engine pics, that's a CPI engine...TBI looks more like a carb

Mine is the same as that. The CPI has a huge orange "VORTEC" written on the top of the intake manifold facing the driver's side.

TBI is basically a glorified, electronic carb. CPI has 2 sets of 3 injectors that are batch fired, i believe. CPI has ~190-195 hp stock, as opposed to TBI which is ~150-165 hp.

The CPI is a center point injection system with one injector supplying fuel through six fuel lines which is one per cylinder.
