Has anyone ever used Blue Devil Oil Stop Leak in the engine. Wondering if it works or damages anything

I've never used the stuff, but I am always really leery of any so called 'additives' that purport to be a solution or cure all. My approach has been, and will continue to be; identify the problem, determine its source/ cause, and fix it right the first time, using the right parts and procedures.

Blue Devil works just do as it says. If it doesn't stop your leak then it's going to need repairs. I have done many rear main seal repairs n such with their Blue Devil products. Also K Seal orange n Blue works wonders on coolant leaks. Was 3 state's away from home my rad cracked on tank near upper rad hose common on for escape. It sealed it up I went 245 miles. Good luck.
I have yet to see an oil stop leak product work in any way.

Well my son's 800 $ 178976 miles when he bought it had a rear main leak that was Not a drip. V6 mustang
I changed oil added the product I spoke of earlier. It slowed it down. At it's next oil change I added it again and it made it a small leak drip. I have added it to it after that every other oil change. It currently has 200521 miles no oil leak at all. I also used it on my daughter's 09 malibu 4cyl it slowed her leak down till I had time to replace seal on crank pully. Didn't stop it but slowed it down . Take it or leave it.

I've successfully used a couple of ounces of type 3 brake fluid to slo oil leaks. The porpoise of all this stuff is to cause seals to expand abit, hence brake fluid works in sum cases.
