I have up for testing a Oasis XD2000

A Big thanks to s1043 for lending me his brand new compressor for the testing.

May I add at 57lbs this thing is a beast!

Here are the pics,

I am going to flow test it temp check it.
And run through a break in for the first weak of use.

Also I am going to measure amp draw and pull on your electrical system

Last I will Boost test it and add the XD2000 To the Boostable List ( I hope)

The motor is

awesome,

so well built and designed.

It has 8 total brushes!
and the housing is thick in some places 1/2"

Oasis recently sent me quite a bit of data on the XD2000... i'm curious to see how it will compare to what you test it at.

I guess the exact same,

With talking to John,

They flow test there compressors almost the exact same way I will do mine.
and they are very realistic with there numbers they do not 'inflate' them in any way

I feal what I find may just be the same things they already have posted on there site.

Thanks man

I work as a Tech at the science center and as a robot Tech at a local personal robot co.

Ok here is my test rig,

2X 1,000CCA Batts :) Huge and heavy ha ha.

I can controll the temp at the bench so it is the best place to test it.

The line is a 5/8" line as to not restrict any flow and It will self charge the batts at 40AMP (about what a stock 105amp alt will charge them at in your truck.

I will mesure Volt drop over time to see if the stock system can keep up.

Oh and DB reading is 89db in the A Weighting at 1 foot from compressor at free flow.

I will get more as I start it under pressure.

Right now I am breaking in seals.

Now this is interesting,
From my outher tests,

83db 380C
89 db Air Zenith

But those numbers are running at pressure,

so I will update mine as Iget it filling.

You like my camera tripod lol works great.

I dug out my vibration meter as well.

I have a graph of head temp vs. time at free flow this thing gets hot with even no pressure lol

Pic up soon of that.
