Spare parts - yes.

I' staying away from that pants stuff.
I guess I do have spare parts now, unless the idle mix screw I ordered works correctly.

This coming weekend:
Oil change.
Install Delrin rear spring bushings - the factory crap is rubber and is totally worn out.
I'm going to drop the spare tire and check out the crank mechanism while I'm under the rear.
I rented a storage unit, so I have a place to do some work on this POS.
I'll probably end up installing the tach/speedo cluster too.
I have a factory AM/FM radio, may try to make that happen also.
More Pix coming up.

Well, I installed the tach/speedo assembly.
Tach doesn't work. Looks like I'll have to re-pin the wire harness or run a signal wire from the coil.
More work...

Chop chop
Open sez me. Going to eliminate this center center crap.
I hope - soon. Open Plenum maybe better.
Porting should help a little.
The 38/38 Weber helped with throttle response, but not much at higher end punch.
This rig needs a bunch of revisions that's not online. I'm going to have to figure performance stuff if I keep this 2.0 lump. Maybe I should just leave it alone (?)
I guess I'm on my own. Nothing new, just have to pay attention to places I don't have access to my regular shop conditions.
I keep thinking original MOPAR 340 six pack in this rig with a 5 speed...
Evil...😈
No other exterior mods.

Hmm... it looks to me like you get 10x as much mods done as any regular S10 forum member :giggle:

Tried to change the rear spring bushings today... Don't have jack stands. I was going to buy a set, but that's more crap to haul back to wherever I'm going, so... have to live with the crap rubber bushings.

At least I changed the oil and filter. Running Shell Rotella partial synthetic 15W-40 with some Lucas oil stuff. Wix filter was $11!

Next is re-pining the tach and adding the oil/ammeter console.

I dropped the spare tire. The mechanism works perfectly. Left the spare off for the moment. No need to drag around any extra weight.
I keep forgetting to take some pix.
I'll post more shortly.

Some random pix:
Very first Starbucks coffee joint in Seattle...

Hmmm...
Maybe you being #1 mod has a little to do with it too.
Recognition and being able to correct stuff.
And I thought I was fair at geography...
Thanks again for the catch

Pikes place market is one of the coolest places in Seattle. Although the bums that hang around the outskirts of it can get a little out of hand.
