So I recently put a new dash in my truck but used all the wiring from the original dash. Drove my truck for 2 days. Then while going down the highway it just shuts off...Dead in the water. Can put starter fluid in and it runs till the fluids gone. I'm mainly asking if anyone knows of some fuse that may have blown or not got hooked up right...anything but my fuel pump...lol

You are learning this stuff quickly. Most folk don't know enough to try starting fluid. Do you hear the pump prime when you turn the key to on initially? ECM B fuse powers the pump. Also common is a break or corrosion on the fuel pump ground wire. Or faulty fuel pump relay. It's on the firewall.

When you first turn the key to ON the fuel pump should run for a couple seconds to prime it for starting. Once you start cranking it comes on and stays on.
Under the hood there is a fuel pump test connector. It's a gray wire with a single connector on one end not connected to anything. It goes directly to the pump. Hook a jumper wire to the positive terminal of the battery and touch the other end to that connector. You should hear the pump kick. If it does, connect it to the connector and try starting the truck. Remember to remove the connector from the battery when done testing as it is a hot wire.
If the pump does not run you either have a faulty ground wire from the pump (common issue) or a bad relay or wiring to it.
You can swap one of the other relays to test it. I did that on my Corvette to diagnose a faulty relay.
Or you have a bad pump. 😕

Which sending unit do you suspect? There is a sensor inside the distributor that has to send a signal to the ECM telling it the engine is cranking or running. The ECM then enables the fuel pump relay. But if you aren't hearing the pump when it's supposed to prime at key on I doubt that the sensor is the problem because priming happens before you start cranking with the starter. Have you located the fuel pump prime connector I told you about and tried putting 12V to it? That will tell you if your fuel pump is dead or alive. We need to know that before looking any farther.

Sounds more like you just won the lottery. Get a good lawyer and go after the boss and the company for a gazillion bucks.

ECM 1 is the power for both fuel injectors and a few other things that aren't as important. W/ it blown it won't run. Question is what caused it to pop.
