On a side note anyone have some 98-up sonoma headlights they want to part with? I have some envoy lights and the position of that hid bulb makes it perfect for a projector retro fit but the lens is fluted all over and it would be perfect to have clear lenses. I wanted to butcher a few lights and attempt to make a mold. Then attempt to make some polycarbonate lenses.

If you have some taken up space, id love to take them from you.

Looking to see if anyone has some bumper bolts laying around. The ones that go in the bottom of the rear bumper that go up into a bracket through the square hole. Chevy says they are discontinued and I don't really have time to go to a pick a part yard just for that. I'll buy you a beer. Or is anyone going to a yard this week?

Got it taken care of. Bought a cut off wheel to go on my electric drill and cut off the bolt, ****ed up my new paint, and found a carriage bolt at the hardware store that worked. Since there are so many different sizes of nuts and bolts, metric and standard, and a custom build, what the hell that it isn't the same size as the others. 1/2 inch compared to 13mm.

Anybody in the area have a set of factory aluminum wheels they aren't using which would fit a 4x4 first gen? I'd really like to find something inexpensive. I'd be willing to trade the wheels I have in the photo for them if they're something you're interested in. I have all four center caps and beauty rings. I just personally prefer aluminum wheels.

Thanks...it's been taken care of by ins. A Pierce Transit van driver opened his door when my dad was along side him and took out his flare. $600+ from the dealer...including a discount...lol

Are you talking about the yard that's right along I5? Those guys are pretty proud of their parts....

They got bought out, the prices aren't so bad now. Funny there is a yank it yard in Poulsbo with better prices still, but yeah I agree. Mind you I know most of them also, and their kids, and and, so they never do me to bad.

I might have to check them out. I need the triangular door handle trims for my '96. I had a guy, a professional lol tint my windows. In the process of removing the door panels, he felt he needed to dis-assemble the handle trim instead of just feeding it through the opening. The outer pieces had a couple of small cracks but still functioned. I can make them work, but would rather get some un damaged pieces.

What piece do you speak of? I am having a brain fart (hang over) day as to what this trim piece is...

There is a trim piece around the dood handle that snaps into place into the door panel. It is attached to the back piece of trim with a flexible adhesive. the design...good or bad, prevents it from being removed from the handle without separating to two. The entire assembly has to be fed through the hole left in the door panel to remove the panel completely. The problem is that the trim piece ie fairly fragile. A razor blade can be used to seperate the two pieces from the backside of the assembly....unless you drill out the rivets holding the entire handle assembly to the door.

Got it, this is making sense now. This is on your 96?
