Hello, I am building a 98 s10, 2.2, std, 2wd for my daughter's first vehicle. When I got the truck it had no reverse. I removed the trans, had it rebuilt, and reinstalled it. I still have no reverse. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm guessing this is an automatic since no one rebuilds NV1500s that I know of.

It's a manual, a buddy of mine works at Aamco so he rebuilt it for me.

I would take it back to him, sounds like he forgot something.
