I installed a "newish" engine in my 98. It was freshened up with new bearings, head work, just back stock.
So my problem is;
Stupid thing it's smoking like the rings are set or something.
I have 150lbs of compression on 2 cylinders, and 125 to 130 on the other 2 cylinders.

Is there something I'm missing? It runs so smooth and clean, but it's smoking, oil smoke.

He's what I've tried; pulled the resenator off and let it run to see if it was blowing oil out of the valve cover, and it's not.

I did notice that it has a insane amount of oil pressure. I talking it pegs it out past 80.......

Any ideas?
