it drives! I still need to get an alignment, they shop told me they couldn’t adjust caster into spec so I need to slot my upper control arms. Also need to flip the steering wheel.

Well after enjoying driving the truck for a month or so in 2wd I’ve decided to start on the transfer case mod. I did the np231 front output shaft swap. Not difficult, just a pain pulling the case from the truck.

Just broke the shift motor while trying to get the case back in the truck so that’s cool.

Random question, does anyone know if there is a direct swap for a steel rear drive shaft for a extended cab? I’m worried about the durability of the aluminum one.

Some progress on the exhaust, the first gen 2wd only has one o2 sensor bung. Also it doesn’t clear a manual transmission so I had to persuade it a little.

Little update, since the last post I have installed a Spartan locker in the 8.8 with a ruffstuff diff cover, and a badlands 12k winch.
