i put a new cd player in the blazer yesturday. it played perfect on and off all day and when i left about 9:30 goin down the road some crazy distortion just kicked in. i don't think its the speakers because it started doing it in all 4 at once.

any suggestions? so far i got take it back, look for exposed wires (none) and _______.

the grounds got no loose hil:

but i pulled one of the factory speakers and hooked it up in my room, its clear as a bell. at least the speakers aren't blown.

i messed with the wiring and the distortion stopped so its somewhere in the harness. tomorrow i'm going to solder everything just so their are no descrepencies.

If you solder it, it will sound better anyway. Good choice.
