Is it normal for a new drum to have slightly bigger holes than the wheel studs? The center hole slides on without slop, so I’m assuming it’ll be ok once it’s torqued down? Reason I ask is I just completely redid brakes and seals in the rear end and don’t want no trouble for a while.

Center hole for hub register must be snug fit to keep drum aligned. Stud holes usually have a bit of 'play'. Adjust brake shoes for equal lite 'drag'. If Hydraulic system has been completely bled of air , you should be good to go (& stop)
