Well, I have been having a horrible weekend. First I lost my only set of keys for my truck, very dumb move only having one set. But now i am trying to replace the lock cylinder in my steering colum. I am trying to get off my steering wheel when the steering wheel puller snaps one of the bolts under the tension(sp) in the colum.

I don't have a pic of mine but here is a one with the puller on it. The red circle is the bolt that broke off at the threads. So what i need to know is how can i get the wheel off? Please help me thanks.

if theres some threads on both ends of the bolt then just put a threaded nut so it connects both ends and then washers to space out the excess bolt to the puller and then just crank that baby off the column. you should be able to pull it off with one bolt holding it on even though 2 would be much better
