I want to test the throttle position sensor on my 92 jimmy with CPI. Anybody have a procedire to do this while the engine is off. Cant I just take an ohm meter and test the resistence between two of the prongs while I move the throtle back and forth? Also, which prong would I test and what kind of readings should I get?
Thanks in advance.

well you are correct, you can. I dont know the readings that you are supposed to get offhand, but its a voltage not a resistance. Get a haynes or chiltons manual. They have the procedure.
