thanks! That's another issue I argued with people about... first it was "saw blades are ugly". Then once installed everyone dug them. Then I opted to strip them for paint... "do black or flat black" was then next comments... you can't see the wheels "shape" when black (also overplayed) so I didn't want to do it...Looks awesome! I really like the colormatched 'vette wheels.
I'm guessing a 4/6... it was 3 inch bell tech keys but I think the V8 made it closer to 4. And the rear is bell tech 3 inch leaf springs. But they're not made for crewcabs. My last Std cab tipped the scales at 3 300 lbs this truck is 5150 lbs be for the v8...How much of a drop is on it? What did you use. My next daily will be a 4x4
Oh I wish it was that easy..... it's still not 100% I modded the stock blazer seat brackets and had to add a 1/2 spacer to the middle support. Still working on the slider for the bottom seats and rerouting the folding seat cables. It also makes it a bitch to get out to cause the rear seat is a square in the envoys. Where the crews are cut like a Triangle to allow more room for your feet to swing out the door. But hey I'm driving I don't careDo the blazer/jimmy/envoy rear seats just bolt in?! If so, that's awesome!
Thanks for all your help/info with the swap dude!!!love it.
Yeah I'm getting all new stuff this winter and going to buy a custom built condenser for space limitations. It's also has a fairly large trans cooler im working around. I plan to be using this truck like a work truck lol.not a problem. Glad I could help.
You plan on hooking the ac up?
I'll get out today and snap a picture of it for youCould you maybe post a picture of how much leg room there is. Just for future...project/reference...lol.
New 5.7 .030 over. Decked heads and block to raise compression.More pics! Truck looks sick!
This truck is not going to be bagged. I'm going to keep it 4wd until I have major problems with it lol. My other crew cab is being bagged currently. So this will serve as the tow pig for it when it's finished .I love it man! Plan to just cruise it from here on out or is bags in the future thoughts?? I know its 4wd now but is it staying that way?
